I received an e-mail from Microsoft Accounts about 10 days ago for the first time saying that I have ordered Windows Defender for $399 for the year, I don’t even own Windows, so I called the phone number on bottom, a person, who barely spoke English, said that they would remove the charge and hung up abruptly, I called back, another person, who also barely spoke English, said same, that they would remove me. I thought that it was enough, but then a week later I received a different looking e-mail with same message that I have purchased Window Defender from Microsoft for $399, I called back, same thing, they still had me in their system, the guy, who could hardly speak English, basically hung up on me! I don’t even use Windows computer! So far there has not been charge on any of my credit cards, I am monitoring them.
