I downloaded, installed, and opened the application as directed. Within an hour I had 4 calls with electronic voices urging me to connect to someone to help me immediately. 1 was from an insurance company, 2 threatened me with legal action if I didn't comply, and the 4th I don't recall.
That was more unsolicited calls than I've had in the last 2 weeks. The eero application was the only thing new. I uninstalled it immediately. However, if this was the reason, I'm sure the installation agreement gave the application access to some of my information.
I've received 9 calls so far today (4-30-21) all of which has asked me to press 1 to be connected to a representative. 3 of them were threatening immediate legal action if I didn't comply. 1 or 2 did come across with the "Suspected Scam" caller identification tag.
I reported and blocked each number. So, I'm unable to confirm the attempt to take money.
