I am traveling to Vancouver during July and was looking at holiday renting a small apartment with my family. I found a suitable listing on craiglist and emailed back and forth details about the rental. The street address was consistent with the advertised photos in the online listing and a rental agreement was emailed from google doc for signing and then instructions for the deposit to a Canadian Bank Account. The name of the person emailing was Michele and the bank account name was (Michele Lalonde) and a signature on the rental agreement (Michele Boucher) was provided during the rental process.

Several weeks after I made the deposit payment I received several emails saying pay remaining amount now and receive free:

1. Free Breakfast of your choice.

2. Free Taxi service(if needed).

3. Free daily House keeping service.

4. Free internet service.

This seemed too good too be true so I emailed and asked if I could confirm the check-in process and meet to collect the key. No reply or response.
