I’m a model based in Boston I get a email to do a project long story short I get 2 checks with the same check number and same exact amount they was mailed to me with track number and all I called the bank to get a check verification to make they legit Denise and carol told me they can’t do that it’s confidentiality and that they can loose there job so on and so on and I said I never heard of that I’m just trying to see if these checks are legit they go to say to deposit them and wait to see if it clears right there was even more fishy so I had my dad call and they verified the checks for him which I’m not understanding why I think because it’s a male speaking not a female I guess but they told him the checks was not legit but when I called back I got the same reaction when I called the first 2 times so I feel they’re are apart of the scams no bank shouldn’t be able to do a check verification all banks do and the way the treated me verses my father was so wrong if I had deposited or cash them checks my life would had been ruined I still have both the checks and the package it came in and all banks lines are recorded the first phone call I made was at 8:23am then 8:25am and the 9:01am my dad called 8:40am I never cash them checks still in my hand
