The customer requested an estimate for a new roof on the Better Business Bureau site Our company Rite-Way Construction accepted the project , to provide an estimate The “customer” after receiving our estimate stated he wanted to send us extra money for the roof and have us send money to someone else . We as a company believed he was attempting to set up a deposit and have us send money and the deposit he sent us would fail . We would have lost the 6000.00 dollars for material we ordered and lose another 1000.00 dollars he wanted us to send to someone else . This client was suspicious from the start and we refused all internet money exchanges with him before any financial damage could be done . We are out the money for our time to measure the building and do the estimate .
