Business Shelter Craft received a customer inquiry via their ScamPulse.com profile, expressing interest in a roof replacement. "Customer" provided company with the address of a vacant home in South St Paul to take measurements / prepare an estimate, exchanged e-mails with business. Once provided with estimate, customer did not seem willing to complete necessary paperwork to move forward in process, but told business he would send a check for $1500 over the estimate. Told business he should forward the $1500 overage to a "plumber" doing work at the same location, because the plumber "doesn't have the facilities to take cheque." Sensing too many 'red flags' and a potential check scam, business discontinued communication with "customer."
