scammer offered gift cards to gain trust first. Scammer made up a story about an emergency his mom had and needed money but would repay at the end of the day. gave gift cards to gain trust to give them money. Scammer pretended to be a long-term friend. Once the money was sent, the scammer blocked me on all social media( Instagram, Snapchat, and PlayStation). Also blocked number and did not answer phone or messages. The day passed and No money was sent back and the scammer had run away with the money and disappeared.
