Type of a scam Moving
Very unprofessional throughout the day and intentionally delayed bringing in large items before the end of the agreed upon time. They made up excuses not to bring in the stove that it was « too wide » (-it’s a standard sized stove) and started recommending it be sold off the sidewalk on Kijiji. They took 40 min to move the truck to the back despite the fact that they couldn’t get close enough to make it worthwhile. Then when we “ran out of time” they tried to charge a full hour for 15 min worth of work. They kept asking the roommate (who didn’t own any of the stuff) HOW to best move in the large items when the cost of $130/hr implies they would know what they are doing. It was deliberate manipulative coersion throughout the move to finally have tallied up almost twice the agreed upon amount.
