This individual identified themselves as Brandy Brown, a mediator, but texted me from a client's phone, using the client's personal information (name and DOB), which is not legal. The issue was about an eviction mediation, and when I told the sender to reach out to the client's landlord, the sender said that I need to call them immediately and that it is strange that I am not doing my job to prevent eviction (again, I am not a landlord and have no control over eviction). When someone else attempted to call the number, the voicemail did not have any identifying business information and we were unable to confirm the 503c they claimed to be from was legitimate. A mediator would know that they need to reach out to a landlord to mediate for eviction and also are to remain impartial, which leads to me to think this individual is a scammer or does not actually know how to mediate.
