Type of a scam Employment
I received a text message about a "job" I didn't apply for.. to have an advertisement added to my car. He asked for my address and told me I would be paid $500 a month. They would send me a check and a portion I would have to give/send to the person/ business that would add the advertisement on my car.
I just received a Cashiers check for almost $3000 with no other paperwork or details. Literally nothing but the check and a Priority Mail label showing the return address as Mewbourne Oil Company in LA.
Cashiers check is from Wescom Credit Union in Pasadena, Ca.
