I was called to hear I had an arrest warrant for $40k for failure to appear to a high profile court case. Said I accepted jury duty from a house I never lived at. Had me convinced someone fraudulently signed my name. I was on a mission to clear my name. They had us use Green Dot prepaid cards and then we ended up sending cash into a bitcoin kiosk. They had me terrified. Kept me on the phone for almost 24 hours, even through the night, before we finally went to Metro and had their office call them out. Feeling foolish. I never thought I’d fall for anything like this. They were GOOD! Metro will NEVER call you to speak about over the phone. An email would come. Expensive lesson learned.
