I received a Priority Mail Express package to me on 3/20/17 from this company. In it was a cashiers check payable to me for the amount of $1,821.00. With instructions for a Walmart Survey. The name on the survey to send the amount of $1,450.00 with the charge of $21.00 via Money Center at Walmart to Timmy Garry in Austin, TX 78708. Then to text all the transaction to 571-350-0557. I've been burnt in the past by scammers for the amount of $500.00. So I called the bank on the check. Union Bank & Trust. Spoke to a rep. Gave her all the information on the check including the person name of Nicholas William Pings. She said that the cashier's check is fake. And she is glad that I called them before depositing it into my bank. Because I would have been responsible to pay the money back to the bank. This is why I'm trying to stop these people from taking money from people like me that are on a fixed income. To gain money from [censored] like Mr. Nicholas Pings.
