On September 24,2024 I received a call that I assumed to be a job offer but then soon became a school program. At first it sounded nice, he said there was no commitment that I can can opt out with no financial obligation. He walked me through the process of seeing if I would apply/ applicable for a scholarship. I gave him my name, address and finally the last 4 digits of my SSN. I only hung up after he asked for pictures of the following. That very night I found out it was a loan I applied for... I disputed it (multiple times). However weeks later Affirm claimed only the business can end this contract. I am beyond frustrated since careerera/ meritshot refused to pick up my calls, respond to my emails within timely fashion. They have been sending me links to their online classes but I refuse and will not attend such thing. My card isn't hooked up but I believe my credit will be affected.
