Fake text stating issues with parcel delivery
It looked official and asked for address and payment info to fulfill customs deficit of $1.95. I copied and pasted the URL several times into different browsers and the 4th or 5th time, this website showed up: Mendoza store. In addition, there were two different landing pages: one for “stuck at airport” and one for “tried to delivery your package”.
Total money lost $64
Type of a scam Online Purchase
My mom ordered a slow cooker and paid through PayPal. The fraudulent site took her money and never received the product. She was unable to contact seller. She did manage to work with PayPal and they are investigating the seller and they have been able to rescind the payment. (Hopefully mom will get her lost money returned)
The seller seems to be using a fake address and phone number.
