I was looking for a ceramic picture memorial for my mother in laws headstone and found Memorial Pictures during my search online. On the website, it gives you the option to send in a photo and they will send a proof of what the ceramic will look like. I submitted a photo online on July 31, 2021, and was contacted by email on August 1 with a proof. The gentleman who I communicated with told me the photo was not the best quality, so I sent in another that he could work with. On August 4th, I received an updated proof and was told if I liked the proof to let him know so he could include it in a batch he was working on and would have it ready pretty quick. On their website it says that orders are shipped within 5 days. I paid for the ceramic by credit card that day and was given an order number, but never received confirmation by email. I contacted gentleman and told him I had paid and what my order number was. I did not hear anything about the order, so I tried contacting them by phone and left email message on August 12th asking for an update. I did not get a response until August 16th where I was informed that the ceramic did not come out correctly and they were working on a re-do and should be ready in a few days. Once again, I never heard back on the status of my order, and sent another email to gentleman on August 24th asking for status and if order cannot be completed to return my money. As of today, August 29th, I have not received any communication or update on my order. I have tried to dispute charge on my credit card, but I have been told to deal with the business. Please be aware of this business. It says it is family owned, and the prices are very reasonable. They have many positive reviews that are screenshots from Amazon. I don't believe Memorial Pictures have been honest or forthcoming in there dealings with me, and I feel I have been taken advantage of, and will never receive the merchandise I ordered or recoup my money.
