Applied for jobs online. Received text message to interview on Microsoft Teams chat. Spent 3 hours interviewing, taking Q&A, and short tests. They offered me the job. Then they started talking about sending me a check to deposit in my personal checking account to purchase equipment needed for the data entry job.

I started wondering at this point, I told them my bank holds checks 14+ days for it to clear before funds are released.

I never heard back from the scammer.
