This company claims to offer cross-country moving assistance but in fact they do not. They initially provided a much lower quote and said the quote would not increase but two days before moving they increased the quote by $4000. They also arranged for a fraudulent moving company to arrive at our house to pack and ship our items. The other moving company is currently not answering questions about where our possessions are and when we can expect to receive them in Virginia. Mega Van Lines has been zero helpful in resolving issues with this other moving company that they hired to move us and has hung up on us several times. They do not provide answers and when pressed for answers, they simply hang up. This company takes money from individuals trying to move cross-country and then offers no assistance. It is our belief that they are in the same fraudulent operation as the company they hired where they take individuals money for services to be provided but then they do not provide the services that the individual has paid for.
