I was looking for a Newfoundland puppy came across a website that looks real megansnewfoundlands.com they emailed me back with [email protected] then texted me telling me they could ship the puppy but if I did want to pick him up we could, told me he was in GA. He told me to zelle $350 deposit to a different phone # Ronald Martin. As soon as I sent it he said it didn’t go through and I would have to send it again, I knew it was a scam then so I didn’t. Then they went mean over phone telling me I didn’t even want the dog and still telling me I didn’t send money and to send a screenshot to a different email address. The next day they said it did go though and gave me a vacant address. I called the phone # I sent the zelle to and he answered and told me he was Ronald Martin but his phone was cloned, when I told him my bank would find out who’s account it went into he called me back and said it did go in there but he he paid bills and didn’t know it was in there. I said if he didn’t send it I was going to police, he ended up sending me $265 back and told me he would send $85 by Friday. He never replied back after Friday, so he was in on the scam also.
