Scam Red Flag

Contacted by Megan Clark, of CogentBioJobs.com. Interview done via RingCentral with information sent from megan@cogentbiojobs.com and hr@cogentbiojobs.com (supposedly Erin). Had legit looking documents on PDF, sent a check that was then to be paid via PayPal to a "vendor" to get branding put onto computer equipment for a WFH job. Which, did not make sense, especially fishy when the paypal address for payment was Dean Scherr and picture was of a women...Not sure what they are doing but it definitely seems odd!
