I posted a wedding dress and veil for sale. Received emails that I would be receiving a check for the amount I was asking plus $50 and the rest would be given to a mover through a Walmart Money Gram Money Transfer. None of the information added up and the grammar and spelling was awful so I knew it was a scam, but wanted to get as much information as possible. The return address is Suntrust 116 S Babcock St Melbourne, FL and the name on the check is Community National Title LLC Addison Escrow Account 14800 Quorum Dr, Suite 150 Dallas, TX. The amount I was asking was $500 the check was made for $1,600.00. I have the check and all the emails. I called to MS Attorney General's office to report, but they said to just throw it away and don't deal with them anymore. I knew this was a scam and didn't follow through with cashing the check, but I feel this needs to be reported so it will not happen to anyone again.
