FACEBOOK JOB

After reading these I feel dumb. I recently seen on Facebook that there was a job for data entry for this company. I messaged the person and told them I was interested they told me to message them on telegram messenger and I had to have a certain code to talk to them. so they asked me questions and then got me the interview through messages and then after I got a 90% accuracy for the job and I got the job well I was obviously excited for the job and it didn't occur to me that it was fake. they told me they provide the equipment which was a Mac Book, iPhone 16, the big I Pad I think the M4 & also computer stuff I don't remember but I filled out the w-9 form and background check also I put in my SSN. I know stupid. I thought it was legit & they were wanting me to purchase the equipment rather than them delivering it. they said they would reimburse me and I asked my husband if it was true or if I was getting scammed he said I was getting scammed I didn't want to believe him because it seemed too good to be true and unfortunately it was and I'm a bit sad I gave out my information to this company and I hope nothing happens but I wish other people would look at these and think twice before getting a job through telegram messenger. I'm a stay at home mom and I was excited to bring in income and ended up getting scammed... so please stay alert.

There was a job posting for remote data entry job on Facebook and I applied and they said I got the job and I did a w-4 and i9 and they want my password and username for my bank account. She it was to track the funds they were going to give me for the equipment for the job. I have all of the messages and pics saved for proof.

I had the exact same experience as posted above! I was in touch with a Janie Dinky Porter Bright on Facebook messenger, who said I'd have a chat interview via Hangouts app. Which I did, chatted with a Frank Smith, asked me for my age, gender, where I lived. Then asked me some questions and said 'congratulations, I got the job'. At no point did he ask to verify is I was a real human or ask me to fill out an application.
He said in order to start orientation and training I would need to buy materials to get started working from home. The materials were Mac Book Pro, new Apple Iphone 12, laser printer and a fax machine. The company would provide the funds to purchase, but NEVER answered me ad to how they would be provided! He said I would need to add a new line tou existing phone plan for the company phone. He them sent am offer letter and W4 to me email. Said to fill it out and send back ASAP. I asked for a ph# I could call and talk to a representative, he ignored that question. The whole thing was super odd and got quite sketchy toward the end. Needless to say, I declined the job!

I was looking for a part time job remotely. They asked me lots of questions via Telegram messaging. They asked my age, financial information and told me I had the job with no application or forwarding a resume. I asked for someone to call me and they said that was against their company policy until I supplied info and started training. I also have the name of person on FB who was promoting this company.
