I was working & one of my friends called to let me know that there was a business that was hiring at $23 an hour. I was excited because I currently want out of my job now. I thought it would be great that my kids & I could get into a home of our own finally. I looked it up on Facebook. Then once I got a hold of the girl, she gave me a reference code. So I downloaded the app to talk to them & let them know I wanted to apply for the job. They wanted to know some of my information. Then they said that I had answered the questions 95%. I was HIRED! They proceeded to tell me that they would deposit a check into my account & I was to go to Wal-Greens, Wal-Mart, Family Dollar, Dollar General & get some gift cards to pay for the equipment that I would work from. The check was $2550. It was to also help pay for my rent & what I couldn't cover. They did keep pressuring me to go to the store to get the gift cards. In a way I wish I'd listened to my gut, it was telling me not to do it. Just didn't make sense as to why I should buy gift cards to pay for the equipment. They did give me an account number & told me to use it to pay off my credit cards. I did stupidly go buy the gift cards. My bank let me know the next day that the check was going to be charged back & I would be in the hole of about $2550. They have erased the messages, I do have the check that they put into my account.
