I answered the call thinking it was my sister in law as she works for KPMG and the recording said, "Hello, are you there" and went into discussing medical so I assume its a medical scam recording

A young lady called to offer an in-home health visit that my health insurance had requested. I didn’t understand the purpose as I keep up with my health myself. When I questioned the purpose of the visit the caller didn’t really have an answer. Eventually she stated that my insurance had sent me an email, but they had not. The caller made an appointment for me giving me a number to call for any questions (855) 403-0967. I called today to cancel this appointment. When I asked for an E-mail verification of the cancellation he said, ”I gave you my name ‘Author’ and I cancelled it”.

My mother-in-law, who is nearly 80 years old, received a phone call from the company asking her about medical equipment she used. They then sent her wrist splints, which she never requested and would never need, along with paperwork requesting her insurance information. I called the company to find out how to return the unsolicited merchandise and was told they would send me a return label. They never did. I believe they are attempting to scam elderly adults by getting them to share their insurance information so the company can profit.
Ask if I have Medicare and asking my age and if I have medical or Medicare insurance. I don't have it stop calling me

Scammer continues to call. After multiple attempts to ignore phone calls I answer and tell them to stop calling and the caller persistently try’s to say they can help lower cost for medical coverage. Asked if I could afford $200 a month and they would need it within the next 3 days. Even when I say stop calling. The caller tried to find out how many is in my household that’s covered. I continue to hang up after telling them to stop calling. Just today between 8:30a-1p they have tried the same script calling me 9 times with 4 different numbers.

I have been called more than the times I've answered. The first time a woman with a deep accent asked for someone and I asked who they were, because she didn't identify first. I began to ask to be removed from their calling list, and she hung up on me mid-sentence. The second time I answered, a different voice asked for the same person as the first lady. I told her I wanted my number removed from this list, and she assured me it would be removed. Pretty decent call. The last time, which is what prompted me to seek attention to this number, the same woman as the first call asked for that same someone and I asked her to identify herself, and she said something about medical coverage again. I began to ask her to remove my number from their list permanently and she hung up on me AGAIN. Very rude. Very strange.

I am at my parent's taking care of my mother. My father left to do errands and I layed down to nap. The phone rang and I answered it and a man said his name and said he was from some "medical" place. Not thinking because my parent's always have medical appointments, he then said their phone number and asked if it was the correct one and I said yes. Then the phone hung up. I called the number back but it does not ring. I told my mother to watch all bill's that come in for any extra charges. They do not have a credit card. WATCH OUT!!
They called and it was noisy in the house when he described his company and then they asked if I could hear and I said yes without thinking and immediately said no.

A called by the name of Emily asked me if I could hear her. I responded with a short "yea", then she asked me again "can you hear me", I replied with NO, she repeated herself again" can you hear me" and stated she had seen where I filed a medical issue on my neck and shoulders(it was a recording). I said no, I cannot, there is a background feed. Then I hung up. The call from NY did catch me off guard, my company office is NY and I was awaiting a call from corporate.
I want to know what precautions to take now in case the "yea" registered on the recording....
