On December 15, 2025, I fell and hit my head, so I was taken by ambulance to the Emergency Room at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson. They treated my injury, ran lab work, and did several CT scans to check for internal bleeding. I was released a few hours later. United Healthcare reviewed the bill, and I paid the balance due on each one. A few days later, I received a bill from Concord Radiology for $336 for CT scans. The bill said United Healthcare had denied the claim, so I called United to verify it. They didn't have any claims from this company for me and suggested I call St. Joseph's. The hospital didn't have any record of this company either. My sister checked the internet and found a link for "Concord Radiology billing scam." The ScamPulse.com Scam Tracker was monitoring the situation, but it didn't appear on the Southern Arizona site when she first queried. According to the complaints online, this company has been very aggressive in their collection methods.

My son went to the ER. I paid the reasonable bill through my insurance company. I then received a bill from physicianbillpay.com for almost $1000 with the incorrect insurance information listed. I contacted them via phone and corrected the insurance information. I continue to receive bills via mail and text message. They continue to have the incorrect insurance information. I have corrected the insurance information many times but it never takes. This leads me to believe it is a scam website and they are trying to get me to pay this fake bill

“Winchester Medical – Express Response Department” asked me to pay $32.75 for “lab testing.” I have never been a patient at Winchester Medical and do not owe them money. The letter used a P.O. Box in Farmingdale, NY (11735-0230), phone number (866) 441-4730, and a website link (https://arspay.ondacks.com) for payment.

The letter threatened to send me to collections if I did not pay. I confirmed that Winchester Medical Center in Virginia does not bill from this address or phone number. I believe this is an imposter scam attempting to collect money fraudulently by pretending to be a medical provider.

I received an Explanation of Benefits from my insurance company. It included information about charges with two of my actual doctors as well as for Sunny and Recovery LLC. I looked up the company and immediately saw that they were associated with fraud. I have never needed medical supplies and never worked with any such company.

My April EOB from United Healthcare included $28K in charges from Sunny and Recovery, Inc. which apparently claims to be a mail-order medical equipment company. Fortunately, UHC did not pay, labeling the charges "evidence that services have been misrepresented." Online reports indicate that multiple people and insurance companies have been targeted in the last month which makes me wonder if this situation results from DOGE mismanagement.

The scam came on the same day as a hospital bill arrived from an emergency visit. The bill was based on charges of services that were done, had medicare rejection of the majority of the charges and then had a remaining balance for the authorized party to pay.

I got a bill from a dermatopathology service that was done in May of 2024. Got a bill from them in April 2025. When they asked for my name and birthdate I refused and wouldn’t give me anymore information on the bill. I call the place where I had the procedure done and they said to disregard since was sent out a year later.

They sent a piece of mail that appeared to be a bill for a pathology medical report. When I tried to pay the bill online, I couldn't get through the sign up process despite filling everything in correctly 9 times. The site made me transfer to "OneHealthCareID" and said I now had to sign in with them as part of the payment process. When I filled everything out it wouldn't forward me to pay, so I'm not exactly sure what they were trying to scam. I use their chat help option, waiting for 25 minutes, I was next in the cue, then it said the agent booted me off with no explanation.

Received a call from a Kylie with InCall Medical Supply. She stated she sent a fax to our office to authorize prescription for a wrist and ankle brace, including office visit notes and protected patient information. Spoke with the provider who never put a request in for any braces for the patient. They continued to call us 4x in one week about this fax, and finally the doctor spoke with them and let them know to stop calling as the patient has no medical necessity for the braces.

We get scam calls like this frequently, but an unsuspecting worker might not realize and just send the information over, just hoping to warn others!

This is the second complaint i am filing about "peryourhealth". They sent me two bills. First from anesthesia, second from my doctors office. Same payment address, different phone number. I paid the first bill, but not the second one i received. Spoke with my bank and called both billing offices. Scam was confirmed. My accounts are paid in full. I want to warn others of this health scam. I hope to get my money back from the first check i wrote.

I received a bill from the above mentioned company for medical services. I contacted the hospital on 11/12/24 that I had the services performed. The hospital stated that they are not associated with this company and the person I talked to at the hospital billing department stated that their records were hacked and that this letter is a scam. The hospital billing department stated that my insurance has been billed and closed out. They also stated that I have no outstanding balance with this hospital for the services they provided.

I received a bill in the mail regarding my latest hospital visit. Claiming that I owed for services that were not covered. After contacting the hospital i was seen at. It is not a company they use. The letter also stated i was 30 days past due. When my visit wasnt even that long ago. After contacting my insurance company. Those services were in fact already covered.

I received a bill in the mail that stated I owed $99.46 to Lake Emergency Medical Services. The bill contained information about an ambulance ride from my home to Orlando Health South Lake Emer date of service 06/19/22 plus Mileage. The paper bill also stated that the amount billed was what was left over after my Medicare Insurance was billed. The bill stated that they had billed Medicare directly and they processed the claim. Also "Your primary insurance has been billed. The blance due is your responsibilty." "Balance due upon receipt of this invoice: $99.46" I received several emails from DOXO; one showed that they paid Lake EMS, payment sent 01/10/23. It showed that I had an account with DOXO - I didn't. DOXO kept sending emails. I called the Lake County Emergency Services - I had gone onto the internet and found the information from Lake Co. Government. I was told that they do not work with DOXO and never received any payment; they checked and stated that as far as they knew no payment was due. Typically, there is no charge for the use of their services. I had to then call my bank and tell them what happened. My bank took the information about DOXO and then had the send me new credit cards and bank cards. DOXO now has my information and send me emails about other accounts. They now have my information and are able to access critical accounts such as the 529 college fund I have for my grandaughter. My grandaughter's infomation is now likely compromised. People need to know. I don't to this day know how to make sure that DOXO doesn't have anymore of my family's information especially my grandaughter's!!!!!

This is a bill for medical lab services. This bill is for the time period when services like this would be provided. From research online and through the ScamPulse.com this company does not exist in Florida, the phone number, mailing address and website do not match the existing company, and when called the phone for the scam company in Florida is answered by a persons name, not a business name.

Received 3 medical bills and called the number listed. I shouldn't have an amount due because I'm at 100% of my out of pocket. There was no itemized information on the statement. When I kept telling them that I'm at 100% she said to call insurance company and call her back. I did and my insurance company said they've paid everything and don't show any amount due. I went on line and looked at the dates of services and my insurance did pay. So I went to the hospital "my chart" and it also stated I had no amount owed. I called their number and got the hospital business office and she also showed a zero balance and said the account number on the bill is not associated with me. She then called the phone number got to a person who didn't identify herself or the company and the MH employee asked them what company are they representing and the lady hung up on her. She believes it was a scam as well.
