I have been receiving multiple calls, often within 10 minutes of each other all hours of the day. For example on 7/2/19 I received 26 calls throughout the day, on 7/3/19 I received 27 calls that day, and today on 7/4/19 as of 2:00 PM I have received 10 calls already.

The message has been similar each time with the person starting with "You recently applied for health insurance benefits. Are you looking for an individual or family plan?" I have informed many that I did not apply for anything, others that they were harassing me, and I explicitly asked each of them never to call me again. More recently, they have been calling and saying nothing or hanging up. This has affected my family time, work / school time, and I now have to keep my ringer off to avoid distracting my life and others. I rarely answer the calls anymore, and if there is a family emergency I could miss the initial call due to the fear that it will be yet another scammer.

I have joined the Do Not Call registry with no success or reduction in these calls. Any advice or help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Finally, I am hearing from many friends and family members that they are experiencing the same harassment.
