The phone rang with a name TOWN 219--365-6135 which is how our town numbers appear when they call. So it then says I have been chosen to receive a MEDIC Alert System press 1 for more info. I did then it congratulated me and told me for they needed to get more info to setup for my gift. I then hung up and no words were exchanged and I gave no info whatsoever. I called my town offices and they said no not their number but they had had an open house for fire dept over the weekend but I never nor any family member ever attended so they told me to contact police which I did and they told me to contact the ScamPulse.com as they have a section for scam calls.
