I NEVER answer my phone unless I recognize the number. There have been a lot of fraud calls claiming to be mediation or from "The Mediation Department". I have researched this, and heard this from other family and friends. If any of this was actually true, they would not be robocalls/prerecorded messages calling from one number, but also telling you to call another number. The calls are annoying, suspicion, fraudulent and invalid. They sound almost threatening without ever revealing who they truly are. I will never call back any number I do not know, especially when they are prerecorded calls or want me to be connected to a live agent. If they are legitimate debt collectors, for instance, this does not feel right or natural in any way. It is actually harassment and unwarranted. The call lasted about 46 seconds on the voicemail, and it just was saying it was from mediation and my first and last non-formal name and that a client retained them, and they need work/income verification. Then the recording told me to cal a completely different number of 470-816-0552. This needs to STOP.

I received a text saying call R W from the Mediation Department it’s imperative I contact him at 833-XXX-XXXX I called a lady answer and spoke very rudely and said I owed money from an online loan over $3,000 and I needed to make good on the debt or they will take me to court I told them do what they need to do because I never took out a loan with anyone.

they contacted be about a car that was repossessed over 12years ago. and were in a prosses to freeze all my bank accounts and take all my earnings via accounts till amount is resolved.

a Jane Jones called regarding a friend of mine, saying they have been trying to contact her. i called back with a so called "case number", they said that there is a lawsuit pending against her. i told them i would try contacting her and hung up. i called back to get a physical address and the woman ignored my question twice by asking me questions, so i asked a third time then she hung up.

The scam said I owe money advance loan, that they will have warrant for my arrest on Monday by 12:00 if I don't have1518 that I owe them. I put 500 on a prepaid card and 500 on another one they wanted remaining on June 6 of the 518 .
