The scammer actually contacted me attempting to get a hold of my mother, claiming she had a 700$ payday loan from Ez Corp, Ez Money back from January 6, 2016. They had her first and last name and said they were Mediation Account Center trying to handle things before going to collections.

Early Morning SCAM Call

Early Morning Phone Call - I picked up the phone, remained silent, and just listened ... after about 7-10 seconds, a Male (sounded African-American in his mid 20's) said, "We're trying to reach your daughter XXXXX regarding a Legal Matter -- we've been unable to reach her at the number she gave us, and your number was given as an Alternate Contact. It's Important that you have her contact us at (he started giving a number which was different than the number he was calling me from, so I said "Hello", and the call hung up). I called-back the number that had reached me (830) 212-6660, and some other guy answered - I asked who he was, and he said his name was Justin, and that he was with MAC (without breaking-down the acronym). I called my daughter to ask her if she knew why someone would be trying to reach her in this manner - she was baffled, so I called them back back from my VOIP Number (different from the one they'd called to reach me). A third Male (another African-American - sounded like he was in his late Teens, and with a real "Ghetto-Attitude") told me his name was Al with Mediation Account Center (MAC). I asked him why he was trying to reach my daughter, and he asked me for my telephone number (so he could look me up). I told him, "This isn't about me -- someone from (MAC) called me at 7:30 am about my daughter - I'm asking what your Company is all about, and the nature of why you need to speak with my daughter?" He retorted, "I'm not gonna answer unless you give me your number and tell me who you are", then he abruptly Hung-Up!

So Many Calls!

They call me from 916-542-4621, a place called 919 Networks, 831-583-8480, and other various numbers. They have even called people in South Dakota (ex husband, daughter in law) looking for me when I am in California.

So I called them and asked why they are calling people looking for me. When he started to speak, I yelled in the phone, "STOP CALLING PEOPLE LOOKING FOR ME" and I hung up. He immediately called me back (I didn't answer) and he said that I was evasive and non-compliant (LOL)...now I will be going to court and good luck to you. What an a**hole.

I get the same crap everyone else above gets...payday loan from ages ago you cannot even prove you paid it or never got one to begin with.

Next time they call, I think I will start saying weird crap or just scream in the phone and hang up. They want to bother me - I will bother them!

Even if I did owe someone money, I would pay them, NOT YOU!

This very rude man called me attempting to collect a so called payday loan debt. I said there is no way, I don’t use payday loans. I asked him when this supposedly happened. He told me in 2015 while residing to TX. I said that’s strange I definitely didn’t reside there during that time frame. What’s the name of this payday loan company? He gives me a random name. I asked him to send me proof of this debt and he got extremely annoyed. He send me a so called letter. I look up the company’s name. Everything on google says it’s a scam. I confront him about this and he says google is not a valid source. I told him so your word is more valid then the internet? Miss me with the bull[censored]. He got angry and said I’ll just mark it as refusal to pay. I said go ahead buddy do your thing!

They are not a legitimate company in the eyes of ScamPulse.com according to the website. This company called me over and over from different phone numbers around me, although supposedly their head office is in Pembroke Pines, Florida. This company claimed to have gotten a debt I owed from I don’t know 14 years ago which isn’t even on my credit report anymore, and you know I agreed to start paying on the old debt to clear it up. They were really nice at first. I made 8 payments to them at $50 a month consecutively. After just making a payment 2 weeks prior, this crazy lady by the name of Betsy Castro called up and wanted payment two weeks after that last payment. When I refused, feeling that something was suspicious and asked to talk to someone else-she lost it on me like she hadn’t taken her lithium that day, screaming, “do you think your little $50 a month payments are even doing anything?! They’re not doing anything, let me tell you!” Over and over and over, yelling into the phone to where I couldn’t put it on my ear. I just calmly stated over and over, “I would like to speak to another representative”. Again, supposedly her name is Betsy Castro, and she’s very conniving, tries to play games on the phone-she got literally psychotic with me all because I wanted to verify that this is a legit company I have been paying. Well, that pretty much lamented that she and this company, indeed, we’re NOT legit. She finally threatened to “put me in courts”. I’ve tried to call back, but they hang up on you, and that was two months ago. She called again today 07/18/22, looking for another payment all sweet on the phone and I informed her I wasn’t gonna talk to her, and she tried to tell me “we’re all trying to do the same thing here” cause again if she’s not conniving or yelling at you or insulting you into payment then she’s trying to butter you up. I said “no you’re trying to harass me, and I’m not dealing with you” she goes “well good luck going to court then have a good time in Court” I said “great I look forward to it” I called back wanted to let this company know if it was her or someone else why exactly I didn’t think they were real with all the evidence because I followed up and:
1) the website doesn’t work
2) the email doesn’t work,
3) they don’t have a physical address
4) They have an “F” rating with BBB.com

5) They are not a legitimate company in the eyes of ScamPulse.com according to the website.
When they do answer the phone (other than threatening messages constantly) it’s muffled. They’ll hang up on you but yet they’re putting me in court- I would love to be in court because I know you’re legit, and I’m paying a legit company they’re just gonna keep harassing me til the day I die basically they won’t get one damn cent out of me put me in court because you’ve already broken laws yourselves. I will have representation and documentation. this is obviously fake. Please beware of these *******!

I’m being contacted at least once if not twice a week regarding collecting on a pay day loan, some of the calls are abusing, they even went to contacting my former daughter in law.
It seems that this loan is from 2015 or 2916.

I jeep receiving calls from a Mediation Resolution Ctr about a payday loan I've never taken out. They are rude and have zero customer service why in the world are these people able to harass me like this without any repercussion?

Mark Daniels is not with MAC. I actually called MAC and they are out of Canada. They have no Mark Daniels working for them. I keep all voicemails from them so I called them up and asked for Mark Daniels and the when he got on it was not the same person as on voicemail.
Search Mark Daniels with MAC and you will get tons of hits on payday scams.
Never pay these people or click on links. Always investigate.

I also have been getting calls from this gentleman on a continuous basis everyday. Additionally I get text messages from them and every text message has a different call back number... This company also had the audacity to call my mother of age 96 and threaten her. And yes they claim I have a bad check from 2015 and they won't provide the information they won't provide anything and when I ask for paperwork to to be sent and they said I'm be an unprofessional and not Cooperating.

I have been harassed over the past 2 years for a payday loan from back in 2016 that I supposedly had. I know I haven't been able to get a loan for longer that that because of past debt that I have been slowly paying off. I have told them that I wanted information sent to my address that is my current address they told me they had on file and still nothing. They have been calling my family and making threats towards them and threatening court and what not but here it's been almost 3 years since the first contact and nothing. No information on the issue or case. I have told them I have no money and I am without a job and they told me well we will see you in court then. All this harassment over a loan I haven't taken out. THIS IS A SCAM!!

The caller left a message and identified himself as Mark Daniels from Mediation Account Center. He stated: “You were listed as a reference for (name of someone not known and it was inserted by automated recording) if we’ve contacted the correct party please press one now or hold for message. You were listed as a person of interest in an important matter that requires your immediate attention. To contact us directly use the phone number 888-695-4366 (then repeated). And we do need to speak with you immediately.” It seemed suspicious so I did a search on the company name and found the ScamPulse.com information. I am quite confident this is a scam. The company keep calling my cell phone and my mom house phone. Saying that I owe from a payday loan from September 2016 from my payday loans.com. I contacted the company and they say I have never done business with them. I never did any payday loans online, I also did them in person. Please watch out for this company, they are very rude when talking to you. And they don't want to send no papers proving that the debt is real.

We recently reached out to you in regards to a check fraud complaint that is pending in the fredericksburg City County. Unfortunately, this is a declined payment arrangement that you had in my firm. We are being forced to move forward and follow charges to the fullest extent. The reason being, there are two penalties being fought against your social security number ending in the 2190. The first penalty is that we have you admitting to the check fraud on a federal recorded line, and the second penalty was due to the fact that you had signed the docusign. This was legal documentation that was sent to you via email. However, you did not complete your part of the agreement by fully satisfying this account. Therefore, the judge will take this case into consideration for force recovery in order to please stop on file and keep this case for moving forward into litigation. These numbers are spoofing local telephone numbers to call you about fake bank accounts and debt. Mark Daniels is always the name that’s given, when calling numbers back they belong to an actual person. When they call, I press 1, they begin to speak about personal information which is incorrect and also says I keep getting in trouble etc. this needs to stop! If you Google any of the above numbers MULTIPLE people have reported the same “ bank account “ and the same debt information from the same individual MARK.

I got a call this morning a Michael Colon, representing Mediation Account Center in Florida. He claimed I owed 'Advance America' $750 on a payday loan or line of credit which was taken out in 2014. He said I owed a total of $1030.00 that need to be settled today or they were going to serve me paper and say I committed fraud on my bank account. He was very pushy and rude and when I told him I need to make a phone call to my bankruptcy attorney to inquire about this, he told me I had one hour to get back to him. So I called my attorney and she told me to not pay anything or give out any information to this company unless I had written proof of this debt and court documents showing all this information. When I called back I got a man who claimed to be a 'manager', and he told me they were looking for my brother, not me now. The problem with that was my brother got scammed by a company named '** ******* *********** *** ** ********* ***** We ended up paying ** ******* *********', $339.77 and the man we talked with was **** ***** as they had a process server call my brother to make sure our address was correct to serve papers. I don't know how they managed that but when I talked to my bankruptcy attorney this morning, she stated this probably was a scam too. Something needs to be done about these people they are scamming and conning people out of their money. These people are '********' and they should be punished severely!
