I was contacted over text message about a job offer for a Data Entry Clerk position and then interviewed over microsoft teams and emailed a job offer by an email that is not the companies email.

I was on Indeed looking for a job. This company contacted me via text. I never received a call and asked for a company phone number many times. Neither a letter nor a check I received contained a phone number. I also received a check in the amount of $4,700. I did look up the company that was listed on the check that is located in New York and called them. They said it is a scam and they have reported the company many times.

I received a text message from a Kel about a data entry position. Which was weird because I never submitted an application ro medallion ( but was looking for a data entry job) and said to contact Ema White via Teams. Contacted Ema. Briefing and interview was a messaging back and forth thing. She asked me who I banked with. Received an offer letter from a Melody Wilson. I looked her up on LinkedIn and saw that she actually did work for Medallion and didn't think nothing bad about it. What got is that they said they would be sending me a check to cash it and to buy the equipment. At one of their accreditors only.
