The scammer claimed they were with The Mecklenburg County Police Department. They said I failed to show up for a federal jury that I signed to accept one month prior. In order to not be detained, I had to first pay the bond amount to the fed. After which, I could come to the sheriffs office and they would write up my case and compliance. I would then be reimbursed, and a judge would likely issue me another court date.
