The person contacted me by a text message sent to me by an unknown caller on April 3 2025

After a month of texting and 2 short phone calls they convinced me they they were very wealthy and wanted to share ways that I could become wealthy to using cryptocurrency. They had me set up accounts with Coinbase, imToken, cash app, and finally mdexus.net. I invested $500 to start with and they took me through the trading process and I made money quickly from it. They convinced me to add $10,000 to it and I made money quickly from that. Then they wanted me to add $70,000 and I refused. They turned on me and stopped talking to me and said that they would no longer help me. That’s when I got suspicious and did some research.

Asian woman, 35, goes by the name “Alice” accidentally contacted me on WhatsApp +1(213)726-7958 and wanted to be friends. Over a 4 month period after sharing daily activities, she encouraged me to invest in crypto so that I can be successful like her. She showed me how she would make 32k after investing 80k by just doing one trading transaction. I started with 1k and made a 3k profit after the first trade but she was hesitant when I wanted to withdraw my initial investment. She told me that her uncle had a team that studied the market and would let her know when a trading opportunity would come up. She said that these opportunities were rare and that I should deposit more funds so that I will be able to make a huge return on the next trading opportunity. She also volunteered to lend me 10k if I would invest another 10k by adding it to the MDEXUS.net platform. I was able to wire transfer another 10k from my bank and hyphen converting it into crypto currency before it can go on the platform. I was able to make 200k and the next trade but when I tried to withdraw $100 it was frozen. She said that I will have to withdraw all of the funds but I will have to pay 25% in taxes first. I received an email from mdex5804@gmail saying that I must send the money to a crypto address within 7 days or my account will be frozen and I will be locked out from my account. After send the taxes to the crypto address, customer service on the platform stated that they never received any of the funds and I and not able to send them money from the 200k, it must be from a different account. I am currently out of $200k USD.

A woman claimed to be 35 years old from San Francisco, CA contacted me by accident and wanted to be friends. Over a period of 4 months, she claimed that she made 32k in profits on a 120s trade by investing 80k. She convinced me that I could be making lots of money by investing and trading because her uncle had a team that was 100% accurate in predicting when to invest. The first investment of $1000 made almost 3k in profits but she did not want me to withdraw any of the funds. She convinced me to add more and that she will lend me 10k also. I wired transfer another 10k and I made about 200k in profits. However, when I tried to withdraw any money, it was frozen and they wanted me to pay 25% in taxes to a crypto address otherwise they will close my account. I never saw any of my money again.

I was approached through a random text from a lady. She was very flirtatious. Over 4 months, she guided me on depositing funds on MDEX. When i would attempt to withdraw my money, i was asked to post a "risk management deposit" or else my funds would be frozen and face daily penalties.
