I received a phone call today from a company called MCO Corporation (844-279-7431). They stated that they needed to speak with me about an important matter and to reference case # . I called them back and some guy with a foreign accent stated he was calling to collect for some loan that I supposedly applied for. The amount was $300 and with finance charges and interest that I owe $600.00. I asked him what company did I supposedly apply for a loan from and he said the company was called Shoreline LLC. I asked if he was sure he had the correct person, and he repeated back my social security #, email address and home address. I asked how he got that information and he said that the company gave it to him. I never applied for a loan with this company. He asked when I could pay the balance, and I told him that I was not paying for anything that I did not request. He then told me he would take me to court. I told him fine that I would be hiring an attorney. He said he hopes that he is a very good attorney because I will lose.
