We inquired if it was still available, and the response from the seller was "I am selling it because my husband passed away 4 months ago (of Covid 19) and I don't need it anymore and need the money. My son and I decided to sell the house and moved to my parents in Cadott, Wisconsin trying to start a new life. Let me know if you are interested in buying it or if you have any questions. The forms included a notirized (ATV) bill of sale, the trucking company FMCSA Motor Carrier Insurance info, a letter from the Department of Financial Institutions from a lady claiming to be the Administrator of the Division of Corporate and Consumer Services claiming that the McNamara Trucking LLC is a domestic corporation or a domestic limited liability company, anf the last form from the trucking company was how to make the payment, using Bank Wire Transfer. It all didn't sound right, I then e-mailed Marne Boardman asking her the following questions 1) Where did you live in Montana? 2) Why didn't you sell your UTV while still here? 3) Why don't you have your UTV for sale in the Eau Claire craigslist? 4) Why has your Kalispell Craigslist posting been flagged for removal? 5) Do you have a clear title for the UTV? The response e-mail she sent to my questions: 1) I never lived in MT., before my husband's death, we lived in Nebraska. 2) I took the UTV here because I still wanted to use it here, but I changed my mind. 3) Since I can do the shipping, the UTV has been posted on a few locations, so I can sell it faster. 4) It wasn't flagged for removal, I stopped from there. 5) I do have clean title for it. I am really honest about the sale of the UTV. I'll attach my DL so you can see that I am a real person (see attached). I then sent another e-mail: Marne, If indeed you are telling the truth and this is legit, I will meet you halfway between MT. and WI. with cash and a trailer to bring the UTV back to MT. No 3rd party wire transfer. That's been three days ago, no response. Hence forth I think this is a scam.
