ScammerTexted our business phone number and posed as the owner of a vacant property for sale to give him a reroof estimate. We sent a bid to his email. He accepted the propoposal, wanted to pay us $1,000 down drawn off a calif. wells fargo email check and deposit through our mobile phone app. We got suspicious, went to wells fargo plus our bank and they advised of possible scam.
