10/5/2023, I was on my cell trying to update passwords when I was somehow rerouted and then charged $399 for a “Mcfee Antivirus” program w a auto-renewal every yr. Invoice#***** order #******. I received an email w same. I called the #on the email 818-574-7737 to cancel anything I allegedly ordered. Alex gave me the runaround and eventually hung up on me. I called back & Samuel (who sounded just like Alex) did the same and seemed to know all about me (it was the same person) hung up on me after alleging that the owner of the company “Mr McFee” had died and he was the one in charge now as he was the son-in-law hence I couldn’t make a formal complaint plus he showed up on time and did his job so I couldn’t complain. Last call was to Jay Brown, same ph# area code 818. He told me I’d have a 2-3 hr hold wait for a supervisor and never would give me a name for a supervisor. Each called wanted my email address and name. I never gave them. They originally called me Blackwell-thinking that was my last name. I demanded not to be charged and a cancellation #. These people would not give me anything. They wanted me to access a computer to cancel the invoice I never ordered. I refused.

This was a hoax and so unprofessional and full of lies. This is not a company. They even refused to give me the name of their company; even after I had alleged it was “Mcfee Antivirus”.

I have the email they sent me.
