The scammer sent a letter claiming to be Mazda of Wooster and indicating that I needed to obtain a Vehicle Service Contract before my Basic Limited Warranty expires. They gave a number to call (1-888-280-2188) and a QR code to scan. They also gave a customer ID. They signed the letter as 'Management Team, Mazda of Wooster.' Additionally, the envelope was blank with no return address and the postage stamp corner said 'Mailed from 63155 Permit 5497' which is St. Louis, Missouri and has no association with Mazda of Wooster.
