A "company" by the name of Mazalti had a TikTok circulating where a "fired employee" was trying to "exact revenge" on the company for firing them by distributing a "top-secret" promo code that would give you a 100% discount on all items except for shipping. As you add more things from the Mazalti website onto your cart, the shipping cost increases disproportionately to the amount of labor needed to ship out an item. However, this still seems like a "deal" because you are getting an 100% discount on (faux) jewelry that costs $100-200 even though they are made from cheap alloys and likely bought off of larger distributors like Aliexpress (where they are sold for much cheaper and are of poor quality). Mazalti has no cancellation mechanism on their website/order confirmation email, no social media, no address, and no phone number. You can only contact them via the email I provided. Additionally, those who realize they were scammed AFTER receiving their cheap, fake jewelry and using the promo code are met with a return policy that is extremely convenient only for Mazalti: you can't get refunds on the shipping fee!

Mizalti is an online jewelry store. The company has hired several people to go on Tiktok and pretend to be a disgruntled employee who was wrongfully fired. This employee states that he/she is vindictive and shares an employee-exclusive discount that drops the price of the product to zero, just need to pay for shipping. As each product is added to cart, the higher the price of shipping increases. Although the website lists the jewelry as very expensive, the product received is no higher quality than costume jewelry. The company offers returns, but only for the price of the product purchased. However, since this “discount” dropped the price to zero, and the consumer only pays extremely high shipping costs, that unfortunately is a roundabout way to mean that the jewelry is non-refundable. Upon further investigation, it appears as though each “disgruntled ex-employee” is reading off the same script, since these videos are word-for-word identical
