The website/company sells shoes with LED lights in them. The seller has a return policy that requires you to pay return shipping as well as a 15% restocking fee. The seller sells defective / faulty items and then when the buyer tries to get a refund, they have to pay a 15% "restocking fee". I bought these shoes for my son. They were defective out of the box (LED lights would not work on one shoe, the other would have some LEDs that display the wrong color). The seller will not issue a full refund and pay for return shipping. The seller makes no commitments when contacted by phone, even though they agree to a refund and return label when I disputed this with my credit card company. I immediately demanded a refund in November 2016 (when I purchased the shoes) and have been disputing it ever since. Now their response is that my "return request has fallen outside of our return window and your request has been denied.". Their return window is 15 days after purchase.

As of this writing there are 43 complaints on the BBB. Assuming each person bought $80 defective shoes, this company may have made $516 ($80 x 43 purchases x 15% "restocking fee") off these people without providing their advertised product. If these people have not been able to get refunds (as I am not able to), this company has made $3440 through fraud. There are probably many more people who have not complained to the BBB.

My mother ordered a pair of hoverkicks for my daughter and it was free two day shipping. I decided to call the company and a young man answered and was put on hold and he seemed totally unprofessional. He told me that the sneakers were sold out. I told him that the order was placed and it was available. I told him also that when I went to place another order I saw that the Bowie sneakers were sold out. after the initial order was placed. He placed me on hold after I attempted to ask for a supervisor and told me that the supervisor just left to a conference meeting and told me that the sneakers were available and had shipped out this morning. I would receive a tracking number later on through email. the whole conversation felt like some type of scam whether they would try to debit more money off my mothers credit card or mail me a defective product. I have not received it yet but I do not feel assured with the website design after I look it over or the representative. If the sneakers are working with remote control, then I will assume that perhaps it was a scheme to debit more than the original price.

Ordered product from Hoverkicks.com on December 14, 2016 with 2 day shipping (Stated on their webpage). There has been no communication and when I finally reached them after 33 minutes on hold, they stated that the order was back up and that I should have been notified but that their systems were down. They don't respond to email and their phone automatically hangs up on you. They don't respond through their web-page but they have multitudes of upset people posting to them about not receiving their orders. Desired Settlement: I want my product ordered and communication from the company or my money back.

I purchased hoverkicks on December 8th. They advertised two day shipping and it has been two weeks now and I haven't received them. They have already taken the money out of my account. When you call customer service no one answers and you are on hold until it finally just disconnects your phone call. I have now read reviews that it has happened to more than 10 people. This company needs to be shut down so they can stop taking people's money.

This company has scammed people out of "hot topic" items specifically around Christmas. Hover Boards, Hoverkicks (shoes, and many other. We ordered a pair of shoes that never shipped. No one answers the phone, it is a perpetual on hold message. No one answers emails. On Facebook people are now leaving comments regarding this business being a scam.
