I met him on Ourtime.com, he began messaging me for a few days and he seemed nice and genuine so I gave him my phone number. He was very sweet and told me he was divorced, his ex-wife and son lived in Belgium and he has no contact with them. He said his parents and sister were deceased so he is alone. He said we could not meet because he was in Boston at a conference to find investors for his international public health business. He then said he immediately went to Johannesburg, S. Africa to give the children vaccinations and pick up equipment for the local hospital. He said he wanted to come home to me and begin seeing me everyday as he was very in love with me. He asked if I would pick him up at the airport when he was finished with the job; I agreed. We texted/emailed and spoke on the phone everyday, then after 5 weeks he said he had a problem picking up the hospital equipment and that the S. African government was demanding $30000 before releasing the equipment. He said he was going to call his ex-wife to borrow the money; he called me back in an hour and said she could give him $5000 and could I give him the $25000? I told him I did not have that kind of money and no, I could not give him any money as I think he is a scam. He said that he is not a scam and will prove it to me when he gets back home. I told him to let me know when he is ready for me to pick him up at the airport. He said with no money it could be 2, 3 or 4 weeks; I told him I'd wait. He then went into what does our love mean when I cannot help him in his time of need and he is willing to sign a promissory note with interest; told him again I don't have that kind of money. The phone soon ended and have not heard from him all day. I think he is a scam, please investigate so no one else gets scammed.
