I was dealing with a landlord whom I thought was legit upon arrival, but I was handed a very general paper application by a man named Matt and nothing else. When I called to find out more about the property management company, this lady said it was called EMMA Management, which I cannot find anything about. She then gave me an address and told me “if you feel comfortable you don’t need to send the application in, we have other applicants waiting.”

The address she proceeded to give me was for a place called Mailbox International. So, yeah.

My father is going to be a co-signer, so now our risk doubles. The application is super general, with zero information leading back to this property management company (whatever they may be called).

I may just be paranoid, but I don’t think so. Doesn’t seem worth the risk to me.
