My partner and I are apartment hunting, we found what seemed like a great apartment and reached out first to the condo itself to confirm the listing was real. We were told it was and the available date matched the listing so we asked for a tour via the listing, they said they recommended we put down a deposit but assured us many times via email we would get it back if we decided we didn’t like that place, then we we’re told we must pay even more to view the apartment, again we reached out to the condo itself and they said that was true, we decided to put out and we’re told our money would be returned but have not heard back since.
