I tried to order cat litter on this website, called www.catslitters.com. I stupidly put in all my important information, name, address, credit card number, I think I also put my email address in and phone number. The order said it went through but that they would text me a one time code but it never came through. I called the company whose address they were using, and the recording said, don't order from an online store, it's a scam. I was scammed.

website appears legitimate (though prices probably too good to be true)

website had up to date security listed

used https:

completed online form with payment info

kicked over to an "invoice" from PayPal for the amount of the purchase

should have been more of a red flag

never received email confirmation of payment from company or any other info

no product delivered

within two days had a "test" charge from a foreign company on our credit card

immediately called and cancelled the credit card
