We came across a very legit looking website for a dog breeder. We were provided with reviews, testimonials, pictures etc. After undergoing an application process, we were informed that we were eligible to adopt from this breeder. We called to speak with them and were told the connection was bad, so they’d text us. Through text he told us to check out email for the details. Of course, they wanted the money upfront and would not give us the dog until they were paid in full. That was it going to happen. Then, he sent us his CASHAPP and told us to send the money and immediately take a screenshot of it. We told him that didn’t sound right. When we called, a man who spoke in a thick Nigerian accent proceeded to tell us that he needed the money if we wanted the dog. We told him that we would not do business with him. He then began to text me rude messages. He has my full name and address but no bank information.
