The website had a whole page dedicated to the process of flying the dog out, and that was enough for me to feel comforted. Then as I fill out the application for pets for my landlord, he then states that they will be taking her to the vet for a final check-up and can not provide me with the paperwork until the agreed date to fly her out. I relay this to my mother who then begins to have suspicions and decide to redo my previous searches on the company. I couldn't find anything but the website before, and foolishly I assumed that no news was good news.
I proceed via Paypal to provide a $500 deposit, and then later $400 to complete the offer. The first payment was through what seemed to be staff, but then the second payment was through a completely different account.
Only to find out via petscams.com that three days ago, weeks after I had already done my searching and verifying of the images through google to see that they weren't ripped from anywhere else, they had listed the mshibas website as part of the scam list. They gave little other information, but the mshibas website is down and the contact information I was given by the breeder is now listed as scam information.
