This website (www.mason-official.com) claims to be the official website for Mason Jar lids and canning supplies but it's not. They even have a big warning about scam websites on their opening page! I paid $25 with shipping cost, for 2 dozen regular canning jar lids and waited about a week. When they came, they were in a big box sized for wide mouth lids and while the box had the Ball name on it and a little US flag, it had none of the other normal writing. The lids have no name on them at all and are thin and some have nicks and dents on the rims. The rubber coating is wide and thin, so not likely to seal properly and unsafe to use! When I complained that it was a scam, I got some email saying that if I took enough photos of the lids, the tracking number and the sku, they would look into a refund! Bare in mind, they have this info on their emails to me, and I wasn't saying they arrived damaged, I was saying they are a counterfeit product! I know lids are hard to find but don't fall for this scam! Another email they used is [email protected]. The website no longer exists and it says "Malicious site!"
