Jewelry site was on facebook. It claimed to be going out of business due to health issues they even asked for money to support their cause! Unfortunately I thought by purchasing her product I was helping someone in need. WRONG I received junk jewelry from CHINA not worth what was paid. I tried to return item but contact information was unavailable. Searched on line and found out other people have been scammed as well. They claim merchandise can be returned but provide no information to do so. I followed tracking and this merchandise did not come from Mattituck,NY but from CHINA. Total scam.

Mary's Gems is running social media ads stating a "business closing sale." The site says it features handcrafted jewelry made by Mary, who is based in New York. I purchased items stated to be sterling silver. The scam: the site/business continues and is not closing, the jewelry received is from China, the jewelry received is not sterling silver. Returns are to be sent back to China at the buyer's expense and only when received will be refunded (if that is to be trusted).

Mary’s Gems is a fake store name

On FB saying Mary’s gem store is closing at Mattituck. NY. With a picture of a lady named Mary and her story. Phone # given was also fake. I ordered on 11/5/24 for 4 items $105.00. Items haven’t received till now. Tracking # appeared bogus also. Buyer beware. Now the shop shoes as Crystal emporium?

"In my studio in Mattituck NY, I pay a lot of attention to every detail to ensure that each piece is unique and special." "Every piece is crafted with care and precision". When I was purchased, the website said she was retiring and clearing out her stock. The website no longer mentions retirment for "Mary". Both phone numbers 555-234-9876, and 416-555-7834 are not in service.
