White Bear Lake MN: Thurs Dec 10: I received a phone call this afternoon telling me that there was a charge on my Amazon credit card in the amount of $1,499 for an iPhone 11, and that they have put a hold on this amount against my card, but needed more information. I told them I never made the purchase and they kept asking me for information so that the charge would not go against my card. At first it was hard to hear, then I realized there were MANY voices in the background and that all the times I've had dealings with Amazon, it was an individual (quiet) phone call. After I started asking her questions, she hung up.
