I was offered a job and once I accepted the offer I was sent a check to deposit to use to but equipment for the job. When I tried to use those funds my bank put a hold on my account and when I called my bank they let me know that what I was describing was a known job scam. They used Microsoft teams in order to conduct the interview as well as sending messages. They made me fill out tax forms (I9 & W4). They posed as Marvell inc which is a tech company based in California.
