I am not sure if i have been scammed or not. in my efforts to clear up a debt from a previous payday loan i received threatening email and calls saying i would be jailed unless i pay. I set up payment arrangements totally ($624) and have made the 1st of 3 payments today (9-1-17). I can not find anything on this company only the name. I can't even track down who previously owned my acct (Cash Net) sold my acct to Chebat Financial. I have been trying for endless hours to simply find out if everything is legitimate. Please help me.
