Applied for a job on indeed then got a response that they received my Resume and that I am a potential candidate for a customer representative completely remote job. He proceeded to describe the details of the job even the salary of $850 a week and that I have to work five hours a day four days a week. After reading this, something didn’t seem right, so I decided to Google his email :
[email protected] and found that that he is a SCAMMER! Thank God I decided to do this. These people should be penalized for scamming people like this!

After applying for a job for a freelance graphic designer/illustrator position on indeed under the company MarTec Incorporated, I was contacted via phone number to email a third party for more information. They asked for my portfolio, address, and phone number which I gave (before becoming aware of the scam). they then told me they wanted to double my pay for my "professionalism" despite having minimal contact. I emailed the actual MarTec incorporated about this, and they had told me they weren't on indeed, and had similar reports to mine. I'm planning on cutting contact and returning the check they mailed to me.
